Where Have I Been?

The last months have been a bit crazy. In August I moved cross country to Boston for grad school. School has kept me very very busy. I managed to survive my first actual winter, complete with snow. Lots of snow. Since February I have also had the opportunity to intern in the archive at NEHGS. It has been an amazing experience that I am looking forward to continuing through the summer (Thanks Tim and Judy!). This summer I will finally have a chance to work on my own genealogy. I have Massachusetts roots and want to use the fact that I live in the state to work with the original records and those other records that have not been filmed and/or digitized. In June I will be speaking at SCGS's Jamboree. Once again I will be presenting part of Kid's Camp and I have also been asked to be apart of the Advanced Beginner Class. I look forward to seeing many of my genealogy friends there.

Wow! You've been busy. I'm most impressed that you survived a Boston winter. See you at Jamboree.
